Kurt'z Property Maintenance & Snow Removal is a small, owner-operated business in Cambridge, Ontario. This page explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we use your information to quote and service your property, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- What you type into a quote or pricing form: your name, phone number, email, address, city, the services you picked and any notes you add.
- Measurements from the price tool: if you trace your driveway or lawn on the satellite map, we receive the size you traced so we can check your price.
- How you found us: if you came from a Google search, an ad or Facebook/Instagram, that source is added to your quote request so we know which advertising works.
- Basic visit information: like most websites, our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.
How we use it
- To reply to you, give you a price, and book and carry out the work.
- To contact you about your service, such as storm updates, scheduling and payment.
- To keep basic records for our business and taxes.
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Services that help run this site
A few outside services handle parts of the website. They only get what they need to do their job:
- Formspree delivers form submissions to our email inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Esri (ArcGIS) and OpenStreetMap look up the address you type into the price tool and show the satellite map.
- Open-Meteo supplies the snow forecast shown on the home page. It does not receive your personal details.
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering used on the site.
- Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) may be used to measure whether our ads lead to quote requests. If they are on, they can use cookies or similar tools in your browser. You can limit ad tracking in your browser, Google and Facebook settings.
Some of these companies store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
How long we keep it
We keep customer contact and job details for as long as you're a customer, plus the time needed for tax and business records. Quote requests that don't become jobs are deleted when they're no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted (unless we need to keep it for tax records). Just call, text or email Kurtis using the details below.
